It was a great day for South Asian arm wrestling as Aabhas Rasna of India took home double gold medals at the 2023 WAF World Championships in the Sub-Junior-15 Men +70 kg category.
Things got heated in the finals against Georgian rival, Bacho Digmelashvili when Aabhas got aggressive during his celebration after the pin.
Other notable results include Bachuki 'Bacho' Saginashvili, who won double gold medals as well in the Youth-23 Men +90 kg division despite only being 18 years old. Bachuki is better known as being the younger cousin of multiple-time world champion, Levan Saginashvili.
