Congratulations to our Team Singapore representatives — Ahmad Zaki and Syed Uzair for their great performance at today’s Sihat Sejahtera Menjelang 2030 event at Dataran Putrajaya, Malaysia!
Both athletes competed in the stacked 70–86 kg class and fought tooth and nail to climb the double-elimination brackets. Uzair showed great resilience and managed to win a match against Malaysia’s Ameyr Ho in the finals after climbing up from the losers’ bracket, but was unfortunately eliminated in the rematch.
Well done to both pullers in their venture across the border.
